Project Overview:
In 2020, we undertook a complex and technically demanding project aimed at manufacturing pressure tanks for the oil industry. We selected high-quality stainless steel alloys, EN1.4462 and EN1.4362, to ensure the tanks’ durability in harsh conditions where they must withstand extreme pressure and temperature.
Work Process:
Our project team consisted of highly skilled welders and fitters, true masters of their craft. Achieving maximum precision and quality at every stage of the manufacturing process was critical. Welding was performed using specially adapted techniques to ensure strong and tight joints, preventing leaks and ensuring that the tanks met the strictest safety requirements of the oil industry.
The material thickness ranged from 8 to 25 millimeters, which required the welders to have special skills and experience to ensure uniform melting and joint strength. The fitters were responsible for the precise assembly of the tanks, ensuring that all parts and components were correctly placed and secured.
Project Challenges and Solutions:
The production of pressure tanks, especially with complex materials like EN1.4462 and EN1.4362, presented several challenges for the team. Processing these materials required in-depth knowledge and specialized techniques to maintain the steel’s corrosion resistance and structural integrity.
Our team focused on continuous quality control, conducting extensive testing and measurements to ensure the perfection of each weld and component. Additionally, the welders and fitters worked closely together, quickly resolving any issues that arose and ensuring the smooth progression of the project.
Results:
Upon completion, the pressure tanks were delivered to the oil industry, meeting all international standards and regulations.
