Viafin ProForce & Meria Consulting Collaboration

May 29th 2018

Meria Consulting and Viafin ProForce have signed a co-operation agreement. The co-operation agreement includes serving welding, installation and assembly services for a marine industry. Viafin ProForce is specialised in demanding LNG solutions in marine and shipyard industry and is serving now a wider range of services for shipbuilding network.

“When I was working in Finnish Marine Industries association, I followed how different companies grew with growth of the marine industry. Especially Viafin ProForce stuck into mind when they built fuel tanks and system for the first emission-free LNG ship. It was a demanding operation. When I met Esa Rantala from ProForce in one event last winter, I understood that they have suitable services for shipbuilding. When we discussed about the issue, I decided to make the co-operation agreement with them. More capacity on the spot with turnkey arrangement. I’m sure that their quality is in good shape and their iron know-how insured me in a minute”, Merja Salmi-Lindgren recalls his thoughts on the writing of the contract.

“We had been following the industry for some time and also had a few conversations with the various shipbuilding companies before that agreement was written. So, we already knew at that point that the sector was right for us. And yet when we reached agreement with Merja, our thoughts were crystallized in that place. The next step is that we start telling for customers how the help of capacity can be done in shipbuilding industry. We simply try to find the gaps of the capacity and fulfill them.”, Esa Rantala from ProForce turn opens his thoughts.
